Helen Platis

Helen’s exceptional understanding of company management and leadership structure allows her to cultivate, create, and implement effective change within large and small organizations. Helen’s professional and personal passion for Cleantech inspires her to continually work towards a better future for our planet.
Helen received her first degree at Queen’s University for Economics, she later received a Master’s in Economics from the University of Toronto. Finishing her educational career with an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto.
Kamyar Rouindej
Ph.D. Mechanical Eng, CEM, MBAFounder & CEO
Kamyar Rouindej is a highly experienced engineer and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in consulting, managing, starting, mentoring, and scaling tech firms across various industries. He is the CEO and Innovation Lead at Volta Technique, where he has developed a proprietary technology that contributes to cheaper and more reliable electricity by using compressed air energy storage in compact form factor. Additionally, he provides consulting services in energy management and storage, drawing on his deep knowledge and past successes. Kamyar holds a Ph.D. and MBA and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
Ehsan Samadani

Ehsan is a dedicated and self-motivated individual whose strong analytical background allows him to quickly pick up new concepts. He gains a true understanding of problems and issues by asking detailed and specific questions to further projects.
He completed his post doctorate fellowship at University of Waterloo working on hybrid energy systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo as well as an MASc from KNU.
John Fiorini

John is a strategic and dependable leader who has focused his career on understanding the ins and outs of Operations. Through his past experiences, he makes a phenomenal addition to the Volta Team. John’s background in working with large multinational companies allows him to understand growth on a large scale, he possesses the technical and management expertise to lead teams in many disciplines. John went to Toronto Metropolitan University for Chemical Engineering.

Marc Couturier

Marc has diverse and profound thoughts, enriching his contributions to solving any problem he takes on. He has the unique ability to understand different cultures and backgrounds which he integrates into his growth strategies. His experience in large-scale multinational agreements enables Marc to grasp and conquer international business.
Marc holds two degrees, a Bachelor’s of Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
